The way to get the Standard yarn count with GSM

#GSM means grams per square meter. In knitting fabric it is the main parameter

The key work of a textile engineer or fabric engineer, deciding how many calculations (Ne) is needed for GSM, how to find out.

How many did not know how to bring out your clothes for the yarn count of how many will be GSM:

S/J = 4300 ÷ GSM 

Pique = 5200 ÷ GSM 

Fleece =7200 ÷  GSM 

Interlock = 7200 ÷ GSM 

Rib 1X1  = 6000 ÷ GSM 

 Lacost =5500  ÷  GSM

Rib 2X2 = 6250 ÷ GSM 

Terry = 6240 ÷ GSM

Know whether the GSM relationship with Count or what the count will give GSM for any cloth:

The matching work of a Fabric Engineer working in knitting is done by Count Day for any given GSM, so it can be memorized

One thread 32/s in TC
Next is 100% Cotton
                               Polyester                 Cotton
Thread of TC           65%                        35%
Thread of Cotton     0%                        100%

Polyester 􀃆 65% ÷ 2 = 32.5%
Cotton 􀃆 135% ÷ 2 = 67.5%
Fabric is CVC (Chief Value Cotton).


KNITED FABRIC:

DIA of yarn 1/X = mm

X= Count of yarn

30, S’ of yarn  1/30= 0.033 mm

24, S’ of yarn 1/24= 0.04 mm
