How to remove Silicone Softener from Knit Fabric?


We usually use silicon softener in finishing. After many time finishing of our fabric shades may need to be correction . but the fabric water repellent of the silicon decreases the absorbency, which makes it process terrible. Actually Silicon finishing is  in the fabric process before it is to remove the silicone it needs to be wash by the chemical.

Mechanism:
The mechanism of being removing Fabric Silicone Layer is surfactant present in the presence of Silicon with the help of  Alcoholic Boiling to Convert  soluble sodium salt(sodium silicate).

Rules:

1#  Load the water by maintaining M: L according to machine capability

2# Take the chemical according to the recipe

     Recipe:
  • 5 to 20g / l Wetting to agent (non-ionic). 
  • 5 to 10g / l Soda Ash . 
  • 2 to 3g / l Sequestering Agent . 
  • 2 to 3g / l Soap ( non-ionic).
Wash the fabric  up to 80ºC - 90ºC from 45 to 75 minutes. until the arrival of the absorbency.

3# The bath is drained of 1 to 2g / l sequestering agent.Take a hot wash.

4# Finally try to be neutral with cold wash.
